Power Equipment Appointed Oceania Distributor for Tohatsu
Exciting news for our dealer network, with Power Equipment being appointed as the exclusive distributor for Tohatsu outboard engines across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Oceania region, with the partnership officially starting from 1 July 2026.
It’s a significant addition to the Power Equipment marine line-up, bringing a well-respected global outboard brand into the fold and expanding the range to include petrol outboard solutions.
Tohatsu is Japan’s oldest outboard motor manufacturer. They have been producing engines since 1956 and have delivered more than five million units worldwide. The brand is widely known for its reliability, durability, and practical engineering - which will suit Kiwi boat owners who appreciate those qualities.
For Power Equipment, the move is about offering a more complete solution to the market.
